About Me

I am a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. I study international political economy, with a focus on global environmental governance, regulatory politics, and the role of multinational firms in shaping trade and environmental policy. My work examines how firms influence the design and diffusion of environmental standards, particularly in the areas of plastics regulation and climate-related trade measures. My research has been published in the American Journal of Political Science.

I received my Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University, where I specialized in international relations and formal and quantitative methods. I hold an M.A. in the Social Sciences (MAPSS) from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Hong Kong.
